The region information apps have been a great success since the first was published in August 2016. Keeping to our philosophy of simple, neat and efficient in operation the first major update has been the image on the home screen in 2017. This will be followed with the inclusion of some new functions for users in coming months.
The main images on the home screen are now features of scenes that are inherent to the character of the regions. The Great Ocean Road is noted for the natural beauty of the ocean views and the national parks. Barossa Valley is more than a site of industry it is a home of people whose families have built their homes and communities since settlement. Robe SA is a historic port that has always been a popular holiday destination. It is still a community that is home to many families and people that contribute to the happy lifestyle. Kangaroo Island off the coast of South Australia is an unmarked natural destination. With fresh air, pristine beaches and forests to be enjoyed.
The publishing of the next linking regional app will be in October 2017. Our feed back has been good from users. We are maintaining the connection with both the travelling and residential populations in designing our apps.
